What We Do

Tzalash: In The IDF

Soldiers in the IDF confront many difficulties. In addition to the inherent danger involved in their work, army service also presents religious and emotional challenges. That’s where Tzalash comes in! Starting from before the soldiers draft and continuing throughout their service, our many and multi-faceted programs are designed to offer these courageous soldiers the support that they need.

Eishet Chayil

When a soldier is married, it demands a high level of dedication and sacrifice from the soldier’s wife. These committed women are often separated from their husbands for weeks at a time and given the inherent dangers of army service, they are often under unique stresses and pressures. Tzalash provides emotional support and assistance for these special women.

Tzalash: Pre-Army

The Tzalash Pre-Army program is intended to educate and inspire 11th - 12th graders who are in the critical years before choosing how they want to serve in the IDF. The program includes dynamic weekly Torah classes, inspirational kumzitzs, youth minyanim and other gatherings, all with the goal of strengthening the Avodat Hashem of these young men before they confront the challenges of IDF service.
